Conditional Admission & Pathway Programs

International students who intend to pursue an undergraduate or Graduate degree in the United States but do not meet English language proficiency requirements can apply for a conditional admission or Pathway program.

Conditional Admission: Available to students who qualify academically for admission to a particular university, but have not yet achieved the school’s minimum English proficiency requirements for full admission. Students start with ESL classes and receive guaranteed admission to the university upon achieving English proficiency requirements.

Pathway Program: Designed to help students adjust to living and studying in a US university environment and transition into an undergraduate or Graduate degree program. Pathway Programs allow students who haven’t taken entrance exams like SAT, GMAT or GRE to transition into the first year of a US study program, earn credits toward the degree, and improve English language skills.
