Interested in studying in the United States? We don’t blame you- the US has the best colleges and universities in the world! You’ve probably heard of Harvard, Yale, MIT, and Stanford, but have you ever researched which colleges are the best for international students? Fear not, we have compiled a list just for you.<\/p>\n

When making determinations of which schools to include, we considered the following: Overall Cost, Scholarship Aid, International Student Population, Location, Academic Rigor and Support Services. We also split schools into two categories: Top Schools and Hidden Gems. Top Schools- you’ve probably heard about, Hidden Gems- New colleges on your list.<\/p>\n

Top Ranked Colleges for International Students:<\/h1>\n

1. Amherst College, Amherst, MA<\/h2>\n

Regular Decision Deadline: January 1st\u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0 TOEFL\/IELTS Required? Yes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Located in 1.5 hours outside of Boston, get a robust liberal arts education here! Amherst supports students from 54 different countries and 45% of students identify as students of color.<\/p>\n

2. Williams College, Williamstown, MA<\/h2>\n

Regular Decision Deadline: January 1st<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0TOEFL\/IELTS Required?: No<\/strong><\/p>\n

Williams College awards 60% of accepted international students financial aid, with the average package being $60,000. Williams is ranked #1 as the best Liberal Arts and Value school in the country.<\/p>\n

3. Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH<\/h2>\n

Regular Decision Deadline: January 2nd<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0TOEFL\/IELTS Required?: Yes<\/strong><\/p>\n

A member of the Ivy League, Dartmouth has been one of the best colleges in the country for a long time. Hanover, New Hampshire is the quintessential college town and offers internships for international students!<\/p>\n

4. Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA<\/h2>\n

Regular Decision Deadline: January 1st<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0TOEFL\/IELTS Required?: Yes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Located just outside of Philadelphia, PA, Lehigh’s video welcoming international students speaks for itself.<\/p>\n

5. Bates College, Lewiston, ME<\/h2>\n

Regular Decision Deadline: January 1st<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0TOEFL\/IELTS Required?: Yes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bates meets 100% of demonstrated financial need, meaning international students will research grants and loans that cover the entire cost of attendance. Bates also offers a separate orientation for international students and allows them to stay in the dorms over breaks.<\/p>\n

Hidden Gems:<\/h1>\n

1. Clark University, Worcester, MA<\/h2>\n

Regular Decision Deadline: January 15th<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0TOEFL\/IELTS Required?: Yes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clark University plays host to 20% international students. On campus, International Students Association is the largest student club and it sponsors Clark Annual International Gala- a performance of student-choreographed dances from over 30 countries. See above.<\/p>\n

2. Miami University (Ohio), Oxford, OH<\/h2>\n

Anointed the “Original Public Ivy,” students get the personal touch of a private university with the school spirit of a public university. Engage in research with your professor and checkout their committed office of Diversity and Inclusion.<\/p>\n

3. Soka College, Aliso Viejo, CA<\/h2>\n
