New York University is one of the biggest universities in the world with 230+ areas of study available to Undergraduates. The main campus of New York University is located in a respectable area of Lower Manhattan – Greenwich Village. The Triumphal Arch of Washington Square Park, located nearby, is a symbol of the university, even though it does not belong to them. All the campuses have their own transport system, which makes traveling around the campuses easier.

The second university is Columbia. The main campus of Columbia University is located in Manhattan – in a prestigious area of New York. University buildings occupy 6 city blocks in the area of 116th Street and Broadway. Also, Columbia University has an extensive network of old underground tunnels. Some of them are available to the public even today. The number of famous graduates of Columbia University is WOW! The 4 presidents of the USA, 97 Nobel laureates and 25 “Oscar” holders.

The Statue of Liberty is the most famous statue in the world, and our next stop is near it. The interesting fact that today the monument is green, but many years ago the statue was a bright gold-orange color. This is not visible in black and white photos, but this fact is confirmed by historical references.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is the largest art museum in the world. The Metropolitan Museum holds more than 2 million works of art, covering a period of about 5000 years. The Museum will be a real find for everyone who wants to see everything at once. Why? Because there you will be a guest of almost all European countries at the same time.

Times Square is the neon heart of the megapolis. The square is placed in the heart of New York, on Manhattan. It is one of the main attractions of New York, and the most visited attraction in the world. Every year there are about 40 million tourists come to see multinational culture and take a picture on the red steps.

Extravagant, impressive Rockefeller Center is fully executed in Art Deco style, attracts tourists like a magnet every year. Do you remember the Christmas Tree from Home Alone 2? Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is the main attribute of New Year for New York. Today, the Rockefeller Center has 19 buildings, where 14 are high-rise buildings.

Since 1908, Central Park in New York has appeared in more than 240 films! This is an attractive public park in the world! One of the most interesting facts about the park: despite the fact that the Park looks very natural, almost all of it is the result of manual labor. Yes, all these 25,000 trees, 7 reservoirs, and forests are created by landscape designers.

Of course, we can still describe all the charms, places of entertainment in NY for a very long time, but as you know, it’s better to see once than to hear 100 times. Time Square and New York are waiting for you!
