We created Cogito World Education College Prep Summer Program to support students in every aspect of the college admissions process, from selecting a strong list of prospective universities to developing the skills needed to write a perfect essay. Our 2 -week program includes an essay writing course, common application overview, and college admissions workshops with scholarship and financial aid information. All classes are taught by current graduates or students from the best US universities: Harvard, MIT, Columbia, Princeton, and Brown. Classes are taught via Google classroom.

Our classes are limited to 10 students

9 am – 12 pm Eastern Daylight Time

14 – 17 years old

Our instructors are highly accomplished graduates or current students from elite universities like Harvard, MIT, Columbia, Princeton, Brown, and Stanford. All scored highly on SAT or ACT tests, successfully navigated the entire admission process, and are happy to share their knowledge with our students. Our virtual campers receive first-hand help and daily motivation to reach their goal of attending their dream school.

REBECCA

Rebecca recently graduated from Harvard University majoring in economics. Rebecca’s topics of interest include mathematics, education, and music.

JOSH

Josh is a researcher at MIT Media Lab. He completed his Master of Architecture at the University of Michigan and an undergraduate at UC San Diego in Biology, Visual Arts, and Urban Planning.

9.00 am – 10.00 am: Workshop on creating your perfect college list
10.30 am – 11.30 am: Individual meetings with current student mentors on college applications

Wednesday

9.00 am – 10.30 am: How to write a perfect essay?
11.00 am – 12.30 am: What you need to know about recommendation letters?

Thursday

9.00 am – 10.30 am: Review of college list
11.00 am -12.00 pm: Review of extracurricular activities

Friday

9.00 am – 10.30 am: Individual essay review
11.00 am – 12.00 pm: Lecture on artificial Intelligence from MIT

After completing our 2 week online College PREP program every student will have:

  • Good knowledge of the college application process
  • Personal list of universities to apply to
  • Common application essay that best reflects the student’s personality, reviewed and ready to be submitted
  • Clear understanding of the common application

1. Complete our request form
2. You will receive a parent-student agreement that must be signed
3. Submit the payment for the program
4. Make sure you understand Google Classroom


If you have any questions before joining the program, please send us an email at info@cogitoworldeducation.org or schedule a Skype call.

REFUND POLICY

There will be no refunds for students who voluntarily withdraw for any reason from a Cogito College prep program after July 1st. There are also no refunds for missed classes for any reason. It is a student’s responsibility to check internet access, and Cogito is not responsible for technical difficulties on the student side. Dates, fees, itineraries, and courses may be changed without notice should circumstances require it and at the discretion of Cogito World Education staff. Cogito World Education reserves the right to cancel any program or course offering and to decline to accept any person as a member of one of its programs. If Cogito cancels a program, the full program fee will be refunded.
