About Cathedral Catholic High School

Cathedral Catholic High School is a Blue Ribbon recognized college preparatory school. Located in the affluent Del Mar Heights area of San Diego, California, Cathedral Catholic is just 10 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes to downtown San Diego. It is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego and was founded as the University of San Diego High School in 1957. Each year, Cathedral Catholic students attend America’s top universities including UCLA, Cornell, Yale and more.
