About San Domenico School

Founded in 1850, San Domenico School is California’s oldest independent school. It’s located just one hour north of San Francisco on a 515-acre campus featuring an organic garden, conservatory, riding stables, swimming pool and modern boarding facilities. San Domenico boasts a nationally-recognized music conservatory and Virtuoso program to encourage classical music education, as well as a 3D Makers Lab for students interested in STEM. Every year, students from San Domenico School are accepted to America’s top universities, including UC Berkeley and East Coast Ivy League schools. The San Domenico campus includes a world-class music conservatory, athletics center, art building, swimming pool, equestrian center, and tennis courts. 85% of their campus energy needs are solar powered. SD is an Apple Certified School and a Common Sense Media Signature School, as well as an early recipient of the prestigious United States Department of Education Green Ribbon Award.

“I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being patient, understanding, caring towards me for the past year. The scholarship helped a lot in getting my visa. You sure do know how to do a brilliant work and if there is any way I could take a survey about your services at Cogito, I would give you a 10 out of 10.”
