Campus and Student Life

Facilities at Santa Barbara City College include an extensive library, multimedia center, cafeteria, and several fitness centers. Recreational facilities include tennis courts, athletic fields, a swimming pool and an all-weather track. The School of Media Arts offers film production and photography studios, the music department has practice rooms and a full symphony orchestra, the automotive program is certified as a master training institution, and the SBCC Vaqueros soccer and football teams play at the 10,000-capacity La Playa Stadium in Santa Barbara. SBCC has a vibrant student life, which includes athletics, student clubs, and a student-run newspaper.
