South Hills Academy was established in 1957 as an elite private school. Located in a suburb only 30
minutes east of downtown Los Angeles, California, West Covina is a safe, friendly and diverse community.
The school has a brand-new Science Laboratory, large playing field, volleyball courts, and basketball courts.
SHA is committed to preparing students for university and success in life through hands-on exploration,
critical thinking, and collaborative learning. Students learn to problem-solve and become intellectual risk
takers who care about their learning environment and community at large.

Academics
The curriculum at South Hills Academy is based on
