About El Camino Real Charter High School
El Camino Real Charter High School is a California Distinguished Blue Ribbon independent public high school located in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles, Southern California. Known for academic excellence, El Camino Real Charter has one of the most successful teams in the history of Academic Decathlon, having won six National Championships, more than any other high school in the United States. Members of the award-winning school newspaper, The King’s Courier, return every year with trophies from regional, state and national competition, and its editors have moved on to positions on newspapers at schools such as Harvard, Ithaca, Cornell, UCLA and Columbia.
