Housing and Dorms

Thornton Academy offers both options: students can choose to live on campus or with the host family. They can also change the accommodation after the first year. We recommend starting with living on campus as it provides more privacy and freedom and if that is not for you will be able to change to host family – you will be able to get to know local families during holiday breaks as they often host Thornton students.

Two dorm buildings (one female, one male) offer single, double and triple accommodation bedrooms, as well as  shared kitchens, laundry room, living room with big TV screen, piano and basketball court. Each building houses  two teacher families, which provides “homestay like” ambiance.
