SAT Classes

The secret to the SAT test is that the more you study, the more you take it, and the more you understand the exam itself, the better you’ll become (since the time is limited).

  • Students attend SAT classes 5 days a week alternating between critical reading and writing and math sections.
  • In the evening there are 1-2 hours of supervised homework hours with their camp leaders. We administer two diagnostic SAT tests during the program
  • Every week our students review the test-taking techniques to help them effectively manage their time and improve their scores

College Essay Labs

Our famous writing mornings with blackbird donuts! The college essay is an increasingly important part of the college application. On Saturday mornings, our campers participate in fun and engaging essay writing exercises in a laid-back setting at the Harvard Student Center.

  • Brainstorm ideas for a great college essay
  • Learn how to write an essay that showcases student’s personality and what they will bring to campus
  • Write essays that capture attention and entertain admission officers

  • Instructors: Our instructors are graduates from top US universities: Harvard, MIT, UC Berkeley, and more. They have aced the tests themselves and are accomplished individuals.
  • Lectures and Workshops: We take advantage of having access to the world-famous researchers and faculty and organize amazing workshops that show our students that the world is really a fascinating place!

Individual Social Impact Projects

Cogito pairs students with Boston start-ups, research labs, and instructors to work on a project according to student interests. Every project addresses a different global challenge.

Students choose projects according to their specific interests in different areas such as art, architecture, music, technology, computer science, math, biomedical sciences, entrepreneurship and business, robotics, and more. At the end of the program, students give final presentations.
