Get to know Megha Majumder

Megha is a NIH Scholar pursuing a Masters and MD/PhD at Harvard Medical School and the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine. She received her BA/BS in Public Health, Sociology, and Chemistry at UC Berkeley, where she was involved in student government and medical research at UCSF Neurology, she was the commencement speaker for her graduating class. Funded by a Fulbright-Schuman Grant, her work focuses on the moral implications of a technology-infused biomedical paradigm.

Among other activities, Megha has been a staff contributor, editor & podcast producer for an online journal at Columbia University, NY. She can speak five languages and has a technology-heavy skillset. She was awarded the Fung Medal through the Fung Fellowship, which is just one entry on an impressive list of awards and scholarships. Additionally, Megha has founded academic groups to help students achieve educational and professional goals. She has dedicated her academic and professional life to helping and to healing; to reinventing, subsidizing, and introducing modern health practices and health technology to communities that would otherwise be unable to afford or even know about them. She plans to do a lot of quiet good.
